Official correspondence files of the first two executives, J.M. Frost and T.P. Bell, of the Sunday School Board, founded in 1891 in Nashville, Tennessee. The majority of the material is related to Frost. The collection includes letters, documents and agreements about the Board's interests and activities from its very first days until the death of Frost in 1916. Includes several volumes of outgoing correspondence recorded in letterpress books.
